November 18, 2021: Naming Ceremony for the Dr. Esther Grushkin Center for Arts and Culture, featuring Keynote speaker Jodi Rudoren, Editor-in-Chief of The Forward

Thursday November 18 at 7:00 PM the Staten Island JCC is opening up their virtual doors for those of you who are interested in sharing the celebration of the opening Ceremony for the Dr. Esther Grushkin Center for Arts + Culture at the Joan & Alan Bernikow JCC of Staten Island. The Center is in memory of Dr. Esther Grushkin, scholar of archaeology and community supporter.  Dr. Grushkin was a long-time friend and board member of the Archaeology Society of Staten Island, and we are pleased to offer this collaborative event to you all in her memory.  The event will feature Jodi Rudoren, Editor-in-Chief of The Forward. Jodi spent more than two decades as a reporter and editor at The New York Times, where she also served as Jerusalem bureau chief.
